Quite possibly the most controversial reality show on television right now...But me???
I think it's quite entertaining.
Yes, some... (ok most) of the moms on there are psycho.
But the girls, again (most of them) are adorable!
Some of those 8 and 9 year olds steal my heart and totally know how to work a crowd.
I love watching those girls.
But I know my 2 year old would never sit still for hair/makeup/practice,
so I hate seeing those 2 and 3 year olds cry. LET THEM BE YOUNG AND PLAY, amen?
Anyway, I think it would be absolutely absurd for either of my girls to be in pagaents for many reasons including; being shy in front of strangers, needing naptimes, never sitting still, etc.
thinks she is a princess.
Like a real princess.
We drive by a big church and she says, "Look Mommy! It's Lidia's castle!"
Not to mention 24/7 talk of crowns, princesses, and dresses galore.
Anyway, I know I've talked alot recently about her princess stage but last night was absolutely hysterical.
Lidia wanted to be on Toddlers and Tiaras.
She thought they were "her princesses" and that she needed to wear their dresses too.
And its officially her new favorite show.
Take a looksy...
And throughout the show, this is what I heard over and over and over...
"Look mommy! It's a princess! It's MY princess! Hi princess! You're so pretty!"
"Look its a crown! That's Lidia's crown! I love that princess!"
(a girl was crying and she went...)
"Oh no! My princess is crying! It's ok baby, you'll be okay! She needs a kiss!"
(a girl was "lost" and she was saying...)
"Where'd my princess go? I can't find her! Oh no! I gotta find that girl! Oh man! PRINCESSSSS!!"
and on and on and on and on...
IT WAS HILARIOUS.
and then of course she had to get dressed like a princess...
I love this princess stage.
Oh, and did anyone else watch last nights episode?
This little gem and her mom were something else.
The mom was a little "rough around the edges" but this girl?
A little out there... but still hilarious....
even the producers were laughing!
annnnnnd I'll leave you with a few of her quotes to brighten your day....
"I'm Alana. I'm 6, and I'm a beauty queen, those other girls must be craaaaaazy if they think they're gonna beat me, honey boo-boo child!"
"I want to win moneyyyy! A dollar makes me holler, honey boo-boo."
Then she proceeded to rub her chubby belly on camera and make her belly button talk. Why did she act like this? Because her lovely mother filled her belly full of "Go Go Juice" which I'm assuming was Mountain Dew and redbull. Awesome parenting, round of applause for you there "honey boo boo!"
oh yes, and how could I forget?
Little Miss Carly thinks she's ready for potty training.
Man, I love her!
